Last month, the OneDome Group – which operates free to list property listing websites, OneDome.com and Nethouseprices.com, recorded its strongest ever month across all metrics.

The group recorded 1.7 million unique monthly visitors across its websites, up from 1.37 million in May and 1.5 million in June.

It says strong activity levels have been down to a combination of the stamp duty holiday and the continued release of pent-up demand following the height of lockdown restrictions.

Meanwhile, traffic for August is expected to remain in line with July, despite some slower days for the market when the weather was exceptionally hot.

According to OneDome’s data, buyers with low deposits remain on the sidelines due to restrictive lending criteria. This particularly affects first time buyers.

During July, the group’s websites also generated 170,000 buyer and tenant leads for agents and also recently started to generate vendor leads.

The vendor lead offering is new, but it is growing fast in line with all other metrics. The OneDome Group’s aim is to offer agents between two to three extra valuation appointments per branch, per month within the next six months.

The group’s number of sign-ups also remains strong, with over 700 new branches currently in its onboarding pipeline set to join the listing websites over the next few weeks. Due to the demand, the company has doubled the size of its telesales and onboarding team to respond quicker to agents’ requests.

“We are grateful for all the support we receive from our agents and we continue our mission on building an alternative marketing channel to ‘pay-to-list’ portals,” says Babek Ismayil, Founder and CEO of OneDome.

“In September, we will announce a list of innovative products for the market with an aim to simplify the homebuying process for consumers, while making agents more revenue.”
