Payment technology firm flatfair has announced a partnership with Accommodation.co.uk, which will offer a bespoke version of flatfair’s No Deposit Solution for short term serviced apartments across the UK.

As an alternative to costly up-front deposits, Accommodation.co.uk’s customers will now be given the chance to sign up to flatfair’s No Deposit Solution for a one-off cost of £100 + VAT, with guests agreeing to settle any charges at the end of the stay as if they were checking into a hotel.

Any charges are settled quickly and fairly once the stay comes to an end through flatfair’s portal, designed to give the look and feel of a remote check out from a hotel.

The partnership is trialling this deposit-free solution for longer-term hotel guests. These are tenants that would usually be renting a hotel room for two to three months, because for example they are on a business secondment or are between the purchase and sale of their homes.

Gary Wright, chief revenue officer at flatfair, comments:

“Accommodation.co.uk’s properties and aparthotel partners span the length and breadth of England, meaning our No Deposit Solution will now be instantly available to more tenants than ever before.”

“We strongly believe that our technology solution offers a more streamlined and modern approach for short-term lets and we look forward to working with Accommodation.co.uk to offer our solution to their tenants.”

Howard Russell, lettings director at Accommodation.co.uk, comments:

“In expanding our partnership with flatfair through this offering, we are increasing choice and providing solutions to occupants of flexible living arrangements that suit a wide range of situations.”

“Our focus on world-class customer service through fantastic people and industry leading technology lies at the heart of everything we do, and I’m delighted that flatfair shares our vision and are supporting us as a next generation letting agency.”
