Why attend?

With the Renters’ Rights Bill having passed its final “ping pong” stage in the House of Lords on 14 October, it is now just one step away from becoming law. As the Bill moves closer to being enacted and the process of implementation begins, preparation has never been more important for landlords and property professionals in the UK’s private rented sector. It’s clear UK landlords and property professionals can no longer delay preparation.

During the show, landlords will have the opportunity to access free education through an expert-led three-part training series on how to prepare for the Renters’ Rights Bill, covering the following key topics:

  • Part 1: The new assured tenancy system – what it means in practice, delivered by Suzanne Smith, Founder of The Independent Landlord.
  • Part 2: Changes to evictions – understanding Section 8 and the abolition of Section 21, delivered by David Smith, Partner at Spector Constant & Williams.
  • Part 3: New landlord obligations and penalties – from the PRS Database to the Ombudsman and Decent Homes Standard, delivered by Susie Crolla, Managing Director of the Guild of Letting & Management.

In addition to the Renters’ Rights training series, landlords can take part in discussions on the future of the UK landlord in an era of change, as well as access key seminars across four different rooms and two stages throughout the day, all completely free of charge. With over 50 expert-led seminars covering crucial topics such as Making Tax Digital, investment strategies, financing tips, and much more, there’s something for everyone whether you’re a portfolio landlord, looking for new opportunities, diversifying your portfolio or a new investor.

The exhibition will host 100+ expert property service providers offering services across tax, mortgages, property management, lettings, legal advice, and more, providing landlords and property professionals the chance to connect and meet with expert key service providers to help you navigate and thrive in the UK property market.

The exhibition will open at 08:30 am and run until 17:00 pm.
