The global free-to-list property portal Residential People has announced that it is rapidly closing in on the 800,000 listings milestone within its first six months of operation.

Focused on providing a globally free-to-list platform, the property portal firm is showing its intent to radically disrupt the property sector’s status quo both in the UK and aboard.

Residential People previously aimed to target 1 million listings by Q4 2019. However, on current trajectory, the platform is now targeting 1.6 million listings by the end of the year, with 6,000 new property enquiries per month in the UK alone.

Christopher May, Co-Founder and Director of Residential People, comments: “Residential People has come out positively today with an announcement that it will smash its target of one million listings by year end 2019, and this figure is more likely to be 1.6 million with at least 350,000 listings coming from the UK.”

“We are targeting 10 million listings worldwide by year end 2021, which will make us one of the largest portals in the world.”

The free-to-list property portal currently features 1,000 agents in the UK, with a total of 8,000 estate agents worldwide, a figure that is rising on a daily basis.

Both Residential People and Commercial People’s success has been driven by their free-to-list nature, as well as their prominent SEO strategy which has taken the sites to rank alongside their more established rival portals.

The success of their extensive SEO strategy has not only culminated in high ranking positions within Google’s search results, but also allowed the company to create a series of unique marketing tools such as an automatic video generator, to greater enhance the marketability of an agents’ properties.

Highlighting the virtues of Residential People’s marketing tools combined with its international focus, May adds: “We have international coverage in the UK and abroad, and at present we have over 1,000 independent agents registered and listing with us in the UK; both our commercial and residential platforms are featuring prominently on Google with the number of listings and agents growing daily.”

“For an agent, Commercial and Residential People can also offer premium services that will enhance your brand, social media presence and lead generation, such as videos, micro-sites, brochures and featured property advertising that can significantly increase the leads you receive, and guarantee the valuations in your chosen search location area.”
