The National Landlord Investment Show has appointed Hammock as its Making Tax Digital (MTD) partner to guide UK landlords through the new digital era of tax.
The National Landlord Investment Show has appointed Hammock, the accounting platform for landlords, as its Making Tax Digital (MTD) partner on its Landlord Investment Show Community Hub. Together, they will deliver specialist education and guidance to help landlords transition as smoothly as possible to MTD for Income Tax (MTD for IT).
This partnership combines the National Landlord Investment Show’s position as the UK’s number one landlord and property investment exhibition with Hammock’s expertise in landlord accounting and property tax compliance.
“At Hammock, our focus is on simplifying accounting for landlords and making tax compliance seamless. Landlords and accountants across the UK have already enrolled in the MTD pilot and are submitting their MTD updates with Hammock”, says Manoj Varsani MBE, Founder and CEO of Hammock. “We’re honoured that the National Landlord Investment Show has chosen us as their MTD partner at such a crucial time. MTD will bring substantial change for landlords, and we want to help landlords understand the impact it will have on them. By combining our expertise with the National Landlord Investment Show’s trusted landlord Community hub, we can ensure landlords get the clarity and confidence they need to navigate MTD for IT successfully”.
The National Landlord Investment Show Community Hub for landlords is free to join and access online. All landlords need to do is sign up for free to access the hub, which includes access to the Making Tax Digital Resource Hub (in association with Hammock), along with important updates on the Renters’ Rights Act, economic property reports, and much more.
With MTD for IT introducing new requirements for landlords to keep digital records and submit quarterly updates to HMRC, this collaboration will provide essential support at a pivotal time.
Tracey Hanbury, Co-Founder and Director of the National Landlord Investment Show, commented: “With around six months to go until the digitalisation of the taxation system for some, UK landlords must be prepared for this change. We’re proud to be working in association with Hammock, the first HMRC-authorised landlord software for Making Tax Digital. At the National Landlord Investment Show and within our Landlord Community Hub, we collaborate with a wide range of experts to support landlords on their property investment journey, helping them stay informed, compliant, and ahead of the curve. Making Tax Digital is one of the key changes we’re supporting UK landlords with through education and content“.
Following the success of their joint sessions at the Landlord Investment Show in London in July and October 2025, Hammock and the National Landlord Investment Show will continue to deliver in-person seminars on Making Tax Digital (MTD) at upcoming events. As part of the partnership, Hammock will share expert articles and resources through the National Landlord Investment Show Community Hub, providing landlords with year-round access to professional guidance and insights.
